Linda Laney | Monroe

Linda Helms Laney, 79, of Monroe, NC passed away Friday, September 3, 2021. She was born March 2, 1942 a daughter of the late Curtis and Faye Long Helms. She is also preceded in death by her husband Donnie Lee Laney, two sons, Ryan and Scott Laney, a sister, Barbara Byrum and a brother, Buck Helms. Linda worked over 60 years at Dunn Manufacturing and was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.

Funeral services for Linda were held from the graveside at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2021 in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Douglas Rumley officiating. The family greeted friends following the service at the cemetery.
