Danny, with his brother Fred, was a well-respected business owner of Tire Country, Monroe NC for 34 years before retiring in 2018. He was an active member of Ebenezer Baptist Church serving as a Sunday school teacher, greeter and on other committees. A nature lover, he was happiest outside, enjoying the yard, his dogs, the birds and working on a number of outdoor projects. Danny loved all animals, providing a loving home to a number of rescue dogs over the years. A lifelong sports enthusiast he enjoyed football, skiing, tae kwon do, motorcycling, and boating. In retirement, Danny enjoyed golfing, hiking with his son-in-law, Ryan, and helping others.
