Union Symphony Orchestra will have “Latin Night” at Franklin Court Grille (232 E. Franklin St.) in Downtown Monroe on Aug. 1 from 6 p.m. until 8:30. Cuban cuisine will be available for patrons.
On Aug. 8, Union Symphony will hold “Union Jazz’ from 6-9 p.m. at Treehouse Vineyards (301 Bay St.) in Monroe. The performance will include improv jazz.
Treehouse Vineyards will host a “Latin Night” on Aug. 15 from 6-8:30 p.m.
Union Symphony is preparing for its 15th season.
Union Symphony Soirée Run for the Roses is scheduled for Sept. 5 at King-Juba Residence and Pops on the Quad will be held Sept. 11 at Wingate University.
In May of 2020, Deanna Tham was hired as music director for Union Symphony Orchestra. She was previously Assistant Conductor of the Jacksonville Symphony and Principal Conductor of the Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestra.
