Governor names October Minority Enterprise Development Month

Governor Roy Cooper announced last week he had proclaimed October 2021 as Minority Enterprise Development Month to acknowledge the achievements of minority businesses, corporations and financial institutions in the state.

The Governor’s Office also announced the N.C. Department of Administration’s Office for Historically Underutilized Businesses opened a Minority Business Development Center in the Research Triangle Park on Friday (Oct. 8).

The Governor’s Office states the Center will help support minority enterprises.

5 area students named to Seton Hall University Dean’s List
