RALEIGH — The North Carolina State Board of Certified Public Accountant Examiners has announced three individuals from the area have recently passed the Uniform CPA Examination.

Ginamarie Eileen Klos of Indian Trail, Benjamin Paul Thompson of Matthews and Daniel Connor Deas of Waxhaw were among 53 from North Carolina to pass the exam between September 1, 2021 and September 30, 2021.

According to the State Board, the exam consists of four sections representing 16 hours of testing. Following the exam, the candidates are now required to meet the State’s education, work experience and character requirements to become licensed as North Carolina CPA’s.
