MONROE — At least 18 businesses in Downtown Monroe are participating in a fundraiser for Hospice of Union County.

A portion of the proceeds from sales made on Thursday, Oct. 15, will be donated to Hospice of Union County, according to a report from Union County Government.

Businesses who have pledged to participate in “Shop for Hospice” include: 47K Marketplace, Alice Jules Coffee House, BB Lash and Beauty, Consigning Chicks, East Frank Superette and Kitchen, The Faded Rose, Forget Me Knot, Franklin Court Grille, A Hidden Treasure, Hilton Vineyard, Magnolia on Main, M-Bellish, Peddler’s Paradise Monroe, The Petal Shoppe of Monroe, The Silver Lining, Southern Range, The Studio Boutique and Sweet Union Hemp Company.

Hospice of Union County offers “a special way of caring for people who are living with a life-limiting illness as well as their families and caregivers,” according to atriumhealth.org.

Hospice is available for residents living at home, in nursing homes and in assisted living centers, as well as the Mcwhorter Inpatient Unit.

Hospice of Union County is located at 700 West Roosevelt Boulevard in Monroe.
