INDIAN TRAIL — Although COVID canceled the Town of Indian Trail’s Halloween Spooktacular, families can still attend a holiday event with a drive-in style Halloween Bingo.

On Oct. 24 at Chestnut Square Park, families can register for one of four HalloWINGO time slots: 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. or 3 p.m.

Pre-registration is required. To register, go to indian-trail/catalog/index/fd2b6ea13 and click on Halloween Hallowingo, then select a time slot.

Each family will receive coupons and/or offers from local businesses, and for every round of Hallowingo played, a winner will receive a bag of candy and other prizes.

Local businesses interested in being a part of the event can provide a coupon and/or offer that will be giving away.

For more information, or to sign up to participate as a vendor, go to city-of-indian-trail/catalog?filter=c2Vhcm NoPTEyMzI1NzU= or call (704) 821-8114.

Donation items need to be dropped off no later than Oct. 16 to the Indian Trail Town Hall (315 Matthews-Indian Trail Road).

“This year’s Halloween event has to look a little different, but it’s going to be just as fun — and with just as much candy to go around,” said Hayden Kramer, Indian Trail’s Parks and Recreation manager, in a statement. “Hallowingo allows us to have a fun event for our families while still providing a way for local businesses to get involved ...”
