The Union Symphony Orchestra will perform at Southern Range Brewing in downtown Monroe on Thursday, Sept. 16, from 6-8 p.m.
There will be live music on the outdoor stage from Union Jazz, according to unionsymphony.org. Proceeds from the event will benefit the concert season as well as youth programs — which includes the Union Symphony Youth Orchestra, the Prelude Junior String Orchestra and Youth Chamber Players.
This is Union Symphony’s 16th season. According to their website, Union Symphony has raised more than $15,000 of its $20,000 goal.
Union Symphony Orchestra will present The Symphonic Voice on Oct. 2 starting at 7 p.m. The event will be the first performance in Monroe’s Down Center Theatre for Virginia Gutierrez.
