MONROE — Potter & Company, P.A., a 60 year-old Certified Public Accountant company with locations in Monroe, Concord and Mooresville, has announced a new Managing Partner and two new Partners to the firm.
Todd Plyler, CPA, a Monroe native, has been named the firm’s Managing Partner. Plyler has 29 years of public accounting experience and previously managed another CPA firm prior to joining Potter & Company. A graduate of Wake Forest University, Plyler will focus on individual and corporate tax, business advisory, audits, reviews, in addition to overseeing the operations of the firm.
Potter & Company also announced Emily Mills, CPA and Dan Morrow, CPA have been named Partner with the firm. Both Mills and Morrow have been managers in Potter & Company’s Monroe and Concord offices.
Mills has been in public accounting since 2003 and earned her bachelor’s degree from UNC Charlotte and her master’s degree from Western Carolina University. Morrow started in public accounting in 1999 and earned his bachelor and master’s degree at Appalachian State University. Both of the new Partners will work with individual and corporate tax, audits, reviews, and other services at the firm.
Potter & Company, P.A. was founded in downtown Monroe in 1962 by Lee Potter. The firm’s Monroe office is located at 114 N. Church Street.
