MONROE — North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper appointed Ann Rushing, of Monroe, to the Underground Damage Prevention Review Board as a representative from the Notification Center on Friday (Jan. 7).

Rushing is the Education Manager at NC811, where she serves to educate about the requirements of the Underground Utility Safety and Damage Prevention Act and the marketing of 811.

Rushing’s appointment was part of Governor Cooper’s announcement of nomination and appointments to North Carolina boards and commissions.

Rushing reports on her Linkedin page that she has been the Education Manager at NC811 since January of 2015.
