MONROE — The Union County Chamber of Commerce and South Piedmont Community College’s Small Business Center are launching the Union County Minority Business Makeover Contest that will go to a local small business.
The winner will receive up to 50 hours of professional services from consultants in an effort to help them transform and grow.
To be eligible, businesses have to local (not a franchise), located in Union County and at least 51% owned and actively managed by a racial minority.
Applications can be submitted as early as Jan. 17 and the entry deadline is Feb. 7. The winner will be announced on Feb. 18.
