INDIAN TRAIL — The hardware store located at 205 N. Indian Trail Rd. in Indian Trail is getting a makeover. The retail establishment has converted from Indian Trail Hardware to Ace Hardware Indian Trail and is now part of a family of more than 5,300 locally-owned and operated Ace stores around the world, according to a report from Ace Hardware.

The store conversion started in May.

“At our store, we strive to help residents find the right products, supplies and tools to maintain their homes,” said Darin Workman, CEO at The Helpful Hardware Company, LLC, in a statement. “Ace’s commitment to being ‘helpful’ and its world class service fit perfectly with what we’re doing here every day.”

The store now has the option to carry a complete lineup of brands that include Traeger, Weber, Big Green Egg, Benjamin Moore, Scotts, Milwaukee, Craftsman, Ego and Toro. In addition, the store will have the opportunity to stock Ace-exclusive paint, including Clark+Kensington, Ace’s paint+primer in one.
